Welcome to our homepage presenting our three apartments "Apartment Waldperle, Apartment Waldseele and Apartment Waldliebe" – your temporary home filled with comfort and Black Forest charm.

We are Marina and Matthias Förtsch, your hosts at the Waldrast Apartments in Schonach in the Black Forest.

Our high-quality apartments, which we have fully renovated and newly furnished since December 2024 (Apartment Waldperle), April 2025 (Apartment Waldseele), and July 2025 (Apartment Waldliebe), are owner-managed and offer a unique combination of modern design and stylish elegance.

All three apartments were awarded 5 stars (*) by the DTV (German Tourism Association) in May 2025 (Apartment Waldperle) and November 2025 (Apartments Waldseele and Waldliebe), an achievement we are very proud of.

With great attention to detail, we have designed each room so that you feel comfortable from the very first moment.

Whether for business or leisure, for a short stay or a longer vacation – our apartments, located right next to each other, provide the ideal mix of comfort, functionality, and personal ambiance.
They are the perfect starting point to explore the beautiful Black Forest region and enjoy the idyllic natural surroundings.
